So glad to see SPRING here! It’s finally time to lose all those layers! Feeling super ready for the warmer weather! This year the Spring trend is all about FRUITS! It’s fun to see something different from florals. Fruit reminds me of something refreshing and tasty. perfect for that Spring vibe! I’ve been seeing SO MANY fruit prints, ranging from pineapples, cherries, lemons, and oranges! My favorite print currently are cherries! Which are yours?
Cherry Print Off-the-Shoulder Top
Of course, this puffy off-the-shoulder cherry printed crop top is from Forever 21 (as usual for me, haha!) What really drew me to this top was the style of the puffy off-the-shoulder detail. It has such a girly touch to it and is so different from your standard off-the-shoulder. Another huge reason is because one of my current favorite songs is by Lana Del Rey – Cherry. Just listening to that song and seeing so many cherry printed clothing just made me feel inspired! 🙂
Stripe Flare Pants
I wanted to go for a 70s inspired styled look, I went with these striped flared pants. I have been wearing these constantly because of how comfortable they feel. I remember in the 90s it was ALL about those flared jeans. Wearing these pants just made me feel super nostalgic that time. I rarely see flared anything nowadays. It’s all about skinny jeans or straight leg cuts! So incorporating this into my closet has been so very nostalgic and different for me.
My style is really changing a lot lately. Now I prefer to have a small backpack instead of a crossbody or a handbag. Whenever I use to carry crossbodies, one side of my shoulder would hurt when I carried it for too long. I’d try to switch back and forth and eventually that got tiring. With a backpack, my hands are free and there is never too much pressure on one side of my shoulder. This minimalistic backpack is from Baigio. I love that it’s simple and versatile with whatever I decide to wear!
I hope you loved this update on what trends I’m feeling and what I am inspired by! Seeya next week!
