Styling Silky Textures for Summer!

This week I’ll be playing around with silky textures for Summer wear. I have been eyeing all the silky textures that have been popping up lately. I can’t help but gravitate towards this trend because of how flowy, soft, and luxurious this material looks and feels. Silky materials are super fun to style. It’s incredibly easy to dress it formal or even casually. So let me know down below, what you think of silky textures!

Mod Squad Pink Sunnies

Since Cindy and I recently redyed our hair to a vibrant shade of hot hot pink, I had to go for an all pink look. We both recently received sunglasses from Yay Sunshine, so I had to wear them immediately. I am a huge sucker for circle shaped lenses since they add a very retro and mod feel to any look. What I really love about these sunnies is the Asian fit they designed it with. I never knew that an Asian fit was a thing until this year, but this design definitely helps us Asian girls out, lol! These sunglasses did not slide off my nose as easily as regular glasses.

Silky Flounce Top

This is my first silky texture top that I have ever owned. Of course, it’s from Forever 21 and I had to go with the pink option since it’s my favorite color. I have been LOVING the off-the-shoulder and ruffle trend for Summer. The ruffles and OTS detail really adds to that fun and flirty vibe with it’s playfulness. Since it’s a rather casual day, I opted for my simple light wash denim shorts.

Next, I accessorized with this adorable pink holographic heart choker that I got from Forever 21. Right now I am LOVING all the fun and unique chokers that is out there. I am hoping that this trend lasts, lol. But we all know that trends come and go super fast.

Taylor Ankle Booties

I can’t seem to get enough of these simple booties from Guilty Soles. They’re super comfortable and they pretty much go well with any outfit. I love the pink/nude hue it has. I rarely see any booties out there in this color.
