This week Rocksbox reached out to us to try out their designer jewelry subscription service. We went ahead and first took Rocksbox’s style test to see what jewelry best fit our styles. They asked us what type of outfits we liked to wear and whether we preferred statement or delicate pieces. We  ended up choosing a variety of statement and delicate pieces just to mix it up a little. We were so excited when the jewelry finally arrived. With its super cute box it felt like Christmas in April.

Rocksbox sent us three pieces of jewelry and most of the pieces were great quality. The gems caught the light really well and the hardware did not feel cheap or flimsy at all. Our favorite piece out of the three was the hand chain. It paired well with any outfit because of it’s simplicity.

Unfortunately, the earrings we were sent were pretty lackluster. Although the earrings were of simple triangle shape, we both disliked the gold coloring of the jewelry, they were too much of a yellowy gold rather than a warm gold for our liking.

Fortunately, that’s the strength of Rocksbox. Any piece you don’t end up wearing, you can simply put back into the return envelope and mail it back for a new one!

If you absolutely love the piece, you can pay to keep it. Be sure not to lose anything if you want to pay for it. Since they are designer jewelry pieces, you’ll end up having to pay a pretty penny for it.

The bottom line here is that you do not need to fully commit to a piece of jewelry as if you were purchasing it. We thought this idea was pretty cool since some accessories tend to be pretty pricey. Trends come and go so quickly, so we feel this is an easy way to constantly change up your style with rotating accessories.
