This week we are pretty damn excited to share with you new items that were sent to us from Laneige. We both have been HUGE fans of Laneige for a long time. Nowadays, Korean beauty is popping up everywhere. So we love that it is now easier to access Korean products in American stores. While we have tried a few of their skincare items, we haven’t tried any of their cosmetics. So let’s test these goodies out! 🙂

Essential Power Skin Toner – Normal to Dry Skin / Combination to Oily Skin

First off, we’ll share with you the skincare items we received. We both received toners that fit our skin types.

Chloe here! So my skin is fairly dry as to where I have some dry patches. I don’t have a huge skin routine every night. I simply wash my face and just add a moisturizer. So I added this hydrating toner to my routine and it definitely changed my skin condition. This toner helped me balance out and deeply hydrate my skin. My extremely dry spots were no longer flaky and my skin is refreshed and plump.  This toner is infused with hydro ionized mineral water and six other moisturizing minerals (zinc, magnesium, manganese, sodium, potassium, and calcium). I really love that the consistency is milky and gel-like, it’s really different from most toners that have a watery consistency.  The smell is also really nice, it’s a very clean and fresh scent.

Unlike Chloe, I am a regular to using toners. That is because I have oily and combination skin. Some areas might be dry or normal, and others are very oily. Now you know the struggles of Cindy. I tend to use drugstore toners such as Neutrogena or Simple, so this was my first time trying out a high end toner. I can definitely feel the difference. The scent is not overpowering as other toners. I saw my skin change after a few days. My skin tone balanced out and I also felt very refreshed after every use.

 BB Cushion Hydra Radiance – No. 23 Sand

Cindy here. All I can say is wow, wow, wow. I wasn’t having high expectations for this BB cushion, but it is pretty BOMB. When you first apply it, it might seem like very little is going on to your skin and it will take forever to cover your face. But it starts to blend out and soon you will have clear skin in no time. The scent is pretty strong but your nose will get used to it. We had a random summer storm one day in LA and it got super humid. Our weather here is so bipolar. But I had this baby on that day and wow, I didn’t break a sweat! (or oil LOL). That is a HUGE plus for me. I’m always trying to find matte products that will make my face matte for the entire day. This BB cushion did its job perfectly.

We were so happy when we saw these two toned lipsticks! We LOVE the ombre lipstick trend because it looks like you just ate a lollipop and it gives your lips a fuller look with more definition. We’ve known about this lipstick style since it was a huge Korean beauty trend and we were constant watchers of Korean dramas, lol. Now we’re seeing this trend everywhere! We would usually try to create this look with 2 different lipstick shades but since this one comes with two colors in one, it has made life a lot easier.
