Lost in Pretty Pastels

Spring is finally in full bloom. A fun way to spruce up your Spring wardrobe is by adding pastels to liven up any plain outfit. This week our vibe has slightly changed, and we’re going for a look that we haven’t pulled off in a long time. We’re all dolled up in pastel tones with a preppy feel to our look. Pastel colors happen to be one of our favorites to play around with, but a preppy look isn’t our usual go-to. What is your favorite style to wear?

This outfit is all cozy everywhere for me, haha! It’s not noticeable in the photo, but this fuzzy cardigan from H&M is actually light pink in color. My all time and every time favorite pastel color combo is pink and mint. This cream velvet skirt was the perfect piece to pair with the pastel colors and soft textures of my outfit. My top gave my outfit a more preppy and girly look because of the peter pan collar and light mint color. What I love about this collar is that it is covered in pretty iridescent sequins, which you can see in the top photo.

Cropped Fuzzy Cardigan

This week, I got all the preppy feels from binge watching Riverdale and felt super inspired by Betty Cooper’s wardrobe. Since mint, pink, and white is my favorite pastel combo, these were my colors of choice.  And when I spotted this fuzzy cropped cardigan in the sale section of Forever 21, I couldn’t pass it up. I’m such a sucker for cropped cardigans. I think they are a great staple to have in your closet. Cropped cardigans can be worn as cardigans themselves or be worn as a top. Since I wanted a playful feel, I went with my mint skater skirt that is also from Forever 21. I would totally wear this look to work but with a pencil skirt instead. 🙂 Lastly, I accessorized with a hot pink clear heart choker that went vibrantly with my hair. I also got this little choker from Forever 21. Hehe, I know all our stuff is from Forever 21 since everything is SO CUTE and is within our price range! 🙂

Taylor Ankle Booties    Lola Ankle Wrap Flats

Of course both of us went with our new shoes we got from Guilty Soles! 🙂

Chloe here! I went with these simple booties since I love the neutral color and they’re so comfortable to wear. There’s also something about the shape of these booties that I can’t get enough of.

This is Cindy! I agree with Chloe. I am really attracted to pointy toed shoes. I’ve also always wanted shoes that have a giant bow and these flats fit the criteria! These flats instantly turn any outfit super girly. <3

I love your style and your photos! Pastels are tough for me…I feel like they make me look washed out. But you girls have inspired me to maybe look a little closer when I see them on the hangers =)
