Today I wanted to go with something warm and comfortable to fight off the cold, gloomy weather. I pieced this look together based on this cute heart sweater –one of my favorite prints– from ASOS.  Crop tops pair off perfectly with high-waisted pants to help cover up and keep warm in this cold California weather, while showing just the right amount of skin above the pants. Also it really helps to hold back those food babies ;P

I chose this bold, red lipstick from RimmelxKate Moss to match with the red heart on my sweater. I would have to say this lipstick is one of my faves because of its long lasting application, affordable price, and sweet smell <3 To top it all off, I finished accessorizing with these complementing red rose earrings.

I finished off my look with some luxurious thigh high, faux leather boots. Thigh high boots are one of the biggest trends of this season. Since Chloe talked about suede boots in last week’s post, I think faux leather is another material that works extremely well to add some sophistication to your outfit. Faux leather has the advantage over suede as it is easy to take care of and when it rains… you can jump around in as much puddles as you want without worrying about ruining them! (Unlike suede which will get destroyed in water).
