MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!! Hope you get many great gifts for the holidays, including much laughter, clothes you’ve been eyeing, and of course…happiness! Christmas is one of Cindy’s favorite holidays because she gets to blast Christmas songs in the house literally the wholeee month haha. But it’s definitely both of our favorite holiday because of the good food and presents we receive!
For this post, we tried to dress a little festive. We dug deep into our closets for red and green pieces and finished off with a neutral, warm brown piece to cap off our outfits. Our outfits are also a bit more on the formal side of casual attires to be appropriate for family events.
I was lucky enough to find green and red pieces in my closet this year! I swear this is the first year I was able to find both colors to put together an outfit for Christmas. And since I can’t wear pants, I had to keep warm with some…I mean a… knee high sock haha. I think holidays are the perfect time to bring out those colored socks that you bought and never know when to wear. I was lucky to have this deep red thigh high from Forever 21 which went well with my brown boot.
Don’t you think this cream velvet skirt combines the green and red colors of my outfit well? The baroque pattern on this skirt is also just right for the holiday theme. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns! I mixed the pattern on my skirt with this ribbed crop top. Topping my outfit is a large, cozy cardigan from Forever 21.
I almost always wear a choker or necklace with high neck tops. I have a round face so I think high neck tops make my face look fat haha. If you also have this problem, wearing necklaces that pull downwards, such as the heart necklace I’m wearing above, will help elongate your face. This is actually a choker and necklace set all in one that I also got from Forever 21. I think my whole outfit here is from Forever 😛
Since it is Christmas, I wanted to stick with red and white and they were colors I rarely wore. To stay cozy, I went with my fuzzy knit crop top sweater from H&M that I bought eons ago. It’s been over a year and I’m still super obsessed with fluffy and furry textures! Lastly, I went with this soft corduroy skirt from Forever 21. This outfit may be simple but I mixed it up with adding different textures which adds a lot more detail.
Since the choker trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere, I opted for my O-Ring Choker from Forever 21. For some strange reason, this choker reminded me of those holiday chains we would make in elementary school to count down the days for Christmas, so I decided to accessorize with this! 🙂
Lastly, I went with these over-the-knee faux suede boots from Forever 21. OTK boots never fail to pull an outfit together. Do you love OTK boots or they’re not you thing?
I hope you all have an amazing Christmas! 🙂 MERRY CHRISTMAS!
