I’ve been looking for the longest time to add the perfect duster coat in my closet. In the end, I decided on this olive color duster coat from Forever 21, because this color is fairly easy to match with anything. Since this coat is super lightweight, it has a nice flow to it when you walk; adding a certain flair to your outfit.
I kept it simple with a monochromatic look so it didn’t take away the spotlight from this duster coat. I went with my white choker off-the-shoulder crop top and these disco pants from American Apparel. These pants are one of my favorites because of the fun sheen they give off.
These Perspex booties are from Lolashoetique and they go with a lot of different outfits. So of course, I want to keep rewearing them. Do you think these booties are going out of style or are they here to stay?
Excuse my cast. 😛 I have to say, it felt weird wearing this outfit with my cast and riding around people with my scooter haha. Half the time I was worrying about how the dress kept rising up every time I scooted around. But here are the photos! I hope you can ignore the cast and my toes (LOL they look so funny) and look at my outfit as a whole except not really.. lol. Well, I chose this outfit based on my outerwear, which is this nice mustard shade. I don’t know why, but I am always attracted to mustard outerwear! This kimono from Forever 21 is a bit thin, so if you were looking for something similar but more warmer I found this.
I have really been into the velvet craze lately. I just want to get everything velvet! This velvet dress has a beautiful mauve color that gives a nice soft look. The indent on the bottom trim of the dress gave it a fun twist instead of a boring traditional straight edge. The wrinkles and look of the velvet material also helped in hiding my food baby and emphasizing my waist.
So I don’t know if you remembered in a few posts back, Chloe wore a choker similar to this that read “babygirl.” These are both from Forever 21. I love the “meow” saying and love even more the old English font printed. I already have a necklace that says “meow” also, but I had to have this velvet choker to pair with this velvet dress.
To finish off, I wore a thigh high boot to try to cover and warm more of my leg that my dress couldn’t reach. I could have worn pants with this kimono, but I cannot with this cast haha. So I will put this thigh high boot from Bamboo to good use. I always had trouble finding the right thigh highs since my thighs are a bit bigger than average. This boot was perfect since it has an adjustable gold zipper behind the thigh.
That’s all for this time. Keep warm!!
